Elsa is a 1 year old spunky girl! She was in a shelter and now is in her foster home learning LOTS. Her foster mom believes she was in a house before, but still has a bit of learning to do as any 1 year old dog does. She is very smart and wants to please, but like any young dog, gets excited and forgets some things until she has settled down!

She's good in her kennel and is working on settling before getting to come out. She was curious about the kitty at first, but now runs right by her and leaves her alone! She will be good with other dog-savvy cats with proper guidance. She's starting to become protective of her foster home, but with correction and proper introductions to new dogs and people, she becomes comfortable and warms up fairly quickly. She  absolutely loves fetch and would be very happy with a large yard and someone to sling a ball over and over for her! She's also learning how to walk at heel and makes a good jogging buddy! She also rides in the car well. She would love to go out with you and get her pup cup!!

Elsa can be very sensitive when putting a collar on her neck. She's working with her foster on putting her head through a collar without retreating or reacting.  She can also be sensitive with unexpected touches such as on her hips or rear end and she will yelp and turn around quickly. Due to this, she would be best to have high school kids or older in the house. We don’t know what she went through to make her so touch sensitive, but can guess it probably wasn’t good. She is a soft soul and looking for someone who understands her and uses lots of positive reinforcement. She is highly treat motivated and easy to train.

She's spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and continuing to learn in her foster home.
