Hi! My name is Moose but my foster parents call me Moosey or Moose Moose…they like to use my name a LOT, sometimes my name is No No, but I’m just a curious puppy.

I am about 4-4 ½ months old fun-loving male puppy, but I’m a big boy!

I am a happy go lucky easy-going boy, especially since I came off of the streets as a stray and now have lots of toys, a routine, a soft bed, and humans who give fantastic belly rubs and ear scratches.

I get along with other dogs, especially my foster sister who loves to play and romp with me in the backyard. I am crate trained if you toss a treat in and say “kennel” I go in to enjoy my treat. Once the door is shut and latched, I do let you know you forgot me and I’m locked in. At bedtime I settle down after a few minutes. If I am in my jail cell and you are out and about around the house, I let you know I am still locked in.

I am potty trained; I go to the door and sit to be let out. Or my foster pawrents are really well trained and they know that after a good nap or toy chewing session I get up and start to roam; they take me out right away.

I do pee once in awhile when I am excited, for example if my foster mom takes me outside and my foster dad just got home, I start to pee a little! I am just a puppy so this shall pass or I should learn to control it.

I do well on a leash and enjoy going for walks. When we go to our mandatory obedience class, that will help me improve my leash skills and increase our bond.

I am vocal and once I found my voice, I like to be the boss. At night I do settle quickly but if I am free roaming and my foster parents let my foster siblings out without me, I do let everyone know I’m not happy about that. If it’s breakfast or dinner time and you’re filling my dish, I let you know you aren’t doing it quick enough. I am working on not having to use my voice in certain situations.

I have met kids and I was gentle; I did not jump or puppy mouth. A little girl even asked to hold my leash and I just followed her around. I am still a puppy and I will need to be taught manners as I grow into my paws.

I have not met those other furry household pets called cats, so I’m not sure how I would do with them.

My foster family has a fenced yard that I like to wander around in, explore and romp around with my foster sister.

Do I sound like your dream boy? I can’t wait to meet you.
